The Kidron Valley facing Jerusalem

This drawing is included in the Album
The Kidron Valley - between Mount of Olives and Jerusalem's Old City walls. Part of the valley is also known as the Valley of Jehoshaphat.

".The King (David) also himself passed over the brook Kidron.'' (2nd Samuel, Chapter 15:23).

".and he brought out the grove from the house of the Lord, without Jerusalem, unto the brook of Kidron." (2nd Kings, Chapter 23:40).

Valley of Jehoshaphat - the upper part of the Kidron Valley between Mount of Olives and the walls of Jerusalem. According to tradition it is believed that the valley may be regarded as the court-yard where God's final judgment on the enemies of Israel will take place.

".I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel." (Joel, Chapter 3:2).
