Absalom Pillar

According to the Bible – Absalom ( son of David) built a monument to himself during his lifetime.

…now Absalom in his lifetime had taken and reared up for him-self the pillar, which is in the kings dale; for he said, i have no sun to keep my name in memory: and he called the pillar after his own name; and it is called Absalom's monument to this day.
( 2nd SAMUEL Chapter 18 : 18)

Valley of Jehoshaphat

The upper part of the Kidron Valley between Mount of Olives and the walls of the Old City. According to tradition it is believed that the Valley may be regarded as the Court-yard where God’s final judgment on the enemies of Israel will take place.

I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down " into the valley of Jehoshaphat , and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel …
(Joel, Chapter 3:2)
