| Judea, known as the "Kingdom of Judah", was located south of Jerusalem and west of the Jordan River. Judea included the cities: Jerusalem, Hebron and Bethlehem. Under Roman rule it was called "Judea". "And Elisha said.were it not that i regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, i would not look toward thee." (2nd Kings, Chapter 3:14). "And the men of Judah came, and there they appointed David King over the house of Judah." (2nd Samuel, Chapter 2:4). |
